I was asked to create on short notice a video to promote our new sales app (STORM) and this consisted of writing the script and plan, collecting the video parts and graphics and recording the audio and purchasing background music.
From start to finish this was created in 1 1/2 months for a National Sales Meeting. All of the same concepts used in creating the How to video were used here for STORM. A couple of years later this was re-purposed to “sell” the app to another business line.
Early Videography
One of the media courses required a “How To” video – I chose “How to Make a Manhattan”. There was not a lot of editing magic, but there were cuts and processing of the video that I found very helpful in the piece I did later for my company.
Tools: Nikon DSLR D5000, Tripod, Adobe Premiere
The premise was the Food Network shows at the time that love to do the cuts to the mixing or cutting of the food and drinks. The music was a nod to the drink.
